Senator, Ben Murray Bruce on Friday adopted a girl from internally Displaced People’s Camp in Dalori, Borno State.
NigerianEye gathered that the Bayelsa State senator adopted an orphaned girl from IDP camp in Borno state during the visit of the ad hoc committee on North East Humanitarian Crisis (NEHC).
The common sense senator further said he loved little ones and that they made his day. He called on other Nigerians to follow the same suit.
Sen Bruce in his tweet said
“I am adopting a girl from IDP camp in Dalori. There’re too many orphaned kids there and I call on other privileged Nigerians to follow suit”

Senator Bruce speaking on the education system in the camp said there are few schools in the camp and that teachers will find it difficult to identify pupils due to lack of uniforms.
” At the Dalori Camp, a few schools exist but lack of uniforms make it difficult for teachers to identify their pupils.”
The ad hoc committee on North East Humanitarian Crisis is made up of eight senators Sen. Shehu Sani (APC: Kaduna) as Chairman, Sen. Yahaya Abdullahi (APC:Kebbi), Sen. Malam Ali Wakili (APC:Bauchi), Sen. Theodore Orji (PDP:Abia), Sen. Solomon Olamilekan (APC:Lagos), Sen. Oluremi Tinubu (APC:Lagos), Sen. Donald Alasoadura (APC:Ondo) and Sen. Ben Bruce (PDP:Bayelsa).
